Betsy Stewart is a passionate advocate for education, community well-being, and holistic health. She believes in the value of public education and knows that a strong school system supports and sustains the health and vitality of its local community.

Our schools must prepare students for tomorrow's opportunities and challenges. With extensive experience in business management, health coaching, and community engagement, she brings a

unique perspective to identifying and addressing challenges while fostering collaboration.

Areas of Focus

Smart Funding, Lower Tax Burden:

• Evaluate current needs and services

• Advocate for increased state funding to reduce reliance on local taxpayers

Community Engagement:

• Support programs that develop community-minded youth to unite, act, and lead

Accelerate Learning Improvement:

• Evaluate reading and math curriculum to continue the upward swing of student scores

Invest in Civics Education:

• Prepare ORR students as future leaders to understand how government works on local, state, and national levels

Student Safety:

• Ensure a safe, supportive learning environment that enables all students to thrive
